Binnie: "I woke one morning with a word on my lips "Quiver." I said it aloud. Again and again. I wrote this song to figure out what it might mean. Maybe you'll listen and discover what it means for you? With my Australian collaborator Tartie (Tash Anderson) creating melody, and my lyrics, a visit to Sun Mountain Studio in Boiceville, NY and producer David Baron was called for to bring this baby into the world! Drummer Aaron Johnston, guitarist John Andrews, and bassist Ben Zwerin did their magic, and we are forever grateful. We are thrilled to present our third single and video, now streaming everywhere."
This is the official video and third single from In These Trees and Tartie. In These Trees and Tartie is a collaborative indie music project formed by Binnie Klein and Australian singer-songwriter Tartie. The two women, continents apart, separated by time zones and a pandemic, began writing songs together. In producer David Baron (Noah Kahan, Lumineers), they found an enthusiastic and multi-talented guide. Their first single, Orchard, an anthemic cry about letting go, garnered critical praise and over 400,00 views. Sky, Ocean continued the exploration of the universal experience of heartbreak and recovery. Quiver speaks to the awkward, the quieter, the sensitive ones for whom "It takes a while to find your story...."
